Letters: To Tasmanian Premier: “Long time Labor supporters rethinking their vote”

written by:Roger , Clifton Beach, Tasmania

Dear Premier,

As our Premier I expect you to do the very best for the people of Tasmania and not for already extremely rich and rapacious developers.

I live in Franklin and have been a long-time Labor voter.

However, I am rethinking my future intentions following the inability of the Parliamentary Labor Party to dismiss the inappropriate development  suggested for Ralphs Bay.

As others have noted we applaud development here by those who both share our values and appreciate the uniqueness of Tasmania’s environment.

Developers who can work with us to enhance what we possess not destroy it.

I trust you will not let us down and will, during your premiership and stewardship of Tasmania, leave a lasting legacy by protecting our coast.

Best regards

Roger
