Letters: Support for the “Rally for the Coast”

written by:Gregor Watson, Lauderdale, Tasmania

Dear Save Ralphs Bay Action Group Inc.,

I would like to submit my formal apology for not being able to attend today’s RALLY FOR THE COAST.
Unfortunately, as a teacher, I was unable to attend the rally due to an inability to leave my workplace.  A number of my colleagues have also stated that they would have attended if they were in a more flexible working environment.
We trust that the rally went well and sincerely hope that our inability to attend is not taken by our political masters to be a lack of support in any way.
The Tasmanian coastline is a valuable asset that must be sensibly and sustainably managed for the benefit of future generations.  Proposals such as that of Walker Corporation for Ralphs Bay must be vigorously opposed.

Yours sincerely
Gregor Watson
Lauderdale resident
